Where’s Waldo in Vancouver?

Where's Waldo

Last weekend Mel finished her new viral Where’s Waldo game. She’s hidden a giant painting of Waldo (house paint on vinyl) on a rooftop somewhere in the city. Once google updates the image of Vancouver you’ll clearly be able to see Waldo from above!

For more information on Mel’s project visit her site.

If you are around this evening, be sure to check out the 6pm news on CBC (PST) for an interview with Mel.

    Hey Melanie,

Ive been looking at this picture today and trying to figure out where this Waldo is and think I found it…

I just don’t know whether this comment gets seen by everyone or just you so I didnt want to say… Can I email you and ask you if where I think it is, is the right spot? Have many other people located it yet?

    Thanks,
    Alea : )

About Me

I like short walks on long beaches and churros.

I also like duvets, dachshunds, $1.99 breakfasts, messy hair, mashed potatoes, sleeping in, seat sales, shoes, uva & uvb.

I have a weakness for Rick Steves travel videos, velour, and The Darkness.

Currently I work as an account manager for lululemon athletica, prebranding the heck out of nylon lycra and ballyhooing tight pants.

I'm happiest when I am sitting or eating toast with hot sauce.

My Photography

I tend to take photos of brutalist nightmares, monster homes, ramshackle buildings and my friends in compromising positions.

You can peruse my photos here.

Some of theses photos have been published in Toronto Magazine, the Vancouver Sun, Wired.com, Quill & Quire and other exotic places like an RBC corporate calendar and a children's book.

Where Can You Find Me?

I am often in my house above Zulu Records, in Kitsilano.

Other times I am on my balcony or near coffee or on a beach or at Holt Renfrew or on an easyJet flight bound somewhere delightful like Brno.
