For Valentines Day Jake and I managed to escape the city for a few days and head down to Las Vegas! It was a well needed and well earned break!

We stayed at the stunning Wynn Las Vegas, and our room overlooked pure excess. There were manmade waterfalls, lakes & a even a full golf course. The hotel itself was spectacular, and we’re going to have a hard time going back without staying there. It was flawless down to the last detail!

Our goal was to have the laziest weekend possible, in a city that seems to never sleep. When push comes to shove, Jake and I know how to relax! We saw movies, slept in late, drank giant blended drinks shaped like eiffel tours, gambled, wandered, casino-hopped, spent many hours in our bathrobes, and slept in the world’s comfiest bed. Perfection!

What I’ve learned is that Las Vegas is a different city every time you go. Depending on your mood, your needs, or your companions, the city can be a great many different things. This trip, Las Vegas was an oasis of calm. Definitely a vacation not to be topped anytime soon.
