This weekend my little sister graduated from university. My parents came down from the Okanagan and we spent a few days together, eating, drinking and celebrating.

Mel received a Bachelor of Media Arts, with a specialization in Film, Video & Integrated Media. I guess we are related after all!

During the whole ceremony I was in tears. I was balling like a baby. When Ryan, Mel’s boy toy / boyfriend got on stage I started welling up. By the time Mel received her diploma - I was full on drowning. What a proud sis I was.

After the ceremony we had a lovely meal at the Dockside and then went to see the ECIAD grad show. It was incredible! Other than Mel and Ryan’s work my favorite piece was a big giant foot stool made out of socks.
