Haliburton Highlands

On New Years Day, Dee managed to find his way back from the Honda dealership on the Danforth, Mark braved the early morning vomit filled subway, and Jake cured me with toast. We tracked down Wilsy and went for a big, tasty lunch at a Greek place on the Danforth. I had chicken from the children’s menu.

In true Devine style we then headed up to Haliburton for another New Years with Jake’s parents. We got lost en route and didn’t arrive until late. Sir Sams was open, but it looked like it was most man-made snow. Even the Haliburton Highlands are snowless this Christmas.

We ate a turkey dinner, played Trivial Pursuit, and enjoyed the quiet of middle Ontario. The lake wasn’t frozen and I only packed pumps, so a lake walk did not ensue. We ate butter tarts instead.

About Me

I like short walks on long beaches and churros.

Above and beyond the aforementioned, I prefer deserts, duvets, dachshunds, $1.99 breakfasts, messy hair, mashed potatoes, sleeping in, seat sales, shoes, uva & uvb.

I spend my days developing interactive marketing programs and driving the execution of social media programs for lululemon athletica.

I live in a big, white loft in Vancouver near the beach.

I'm happiest when I am sitting or eating toast with hot sauce.

Where Can You Find Me?

Sometimes I am at work.

Other times I am on the balcony or on a beach or at Holt Renfrew or on an easyJet flight bound somewhere delightful like Brno.

You might find me there.

I rarely answer my mobile. I'm quite partial to the parcel post.
